Outfoxed Start A Revolution Jersey, Velo Vixen

Breathable and quick-drying with a comfortable, rather than race-tight, cut the jersey boasts reflective strips and numerous pockets. For the very reasonable price tag we don’t think you could ask for much more!

Women’s Merino Henley, Vulpine

Vulpine Update
Made from 100% finest merino wool, what this jersey may lack in over-the-top design, it makes up for in softness and comfort. Thanks to its convenient pocket space – one pocket, stylishly placed to the side – and the ability of merino to keep you cool in the warm and warm in the cold, this jersey will serve you well across the seasons.

Available in mulberry and black, one of the things we love about this luxurious Vulpine jersey is that you won’t scream cyclist should you decide to venture off your bike for a mid-ride wander. Yet you’ll still be the most comfortable cyclist there was when perched upon your steed.

Cacciatore Womens Nth Series SS Jersey, Morvelo

Morvelo Cacciatore
Performance and style-driven, Morvelo’s Cacciatore jersey is designed using Dri-Clim fabric on the back and underarms to keep you dry on high-intensity rides.

The remainder is made from a closer weave for improved aerodynamics. And the best part? These are all natural – rather than chemically achieved – attributes, meaning they’ll stick around wash after wash.

When it comes to aesthetics, the mountain silhouette design and striking red and green stripes are bold yet feminine, while the panelled construction, double-stitched pockets and quality component fabrics will make this a long-term staple of your cycling wardrobe.

Ladies Café Jersey Polka, Chapeau

This cheery little number is so lovely that you may well be tempted to pair it with jeans for casual trips out sans-bike. Indeed, this was Chapeau’s intent when designing the Cafe Jersey – to create a tee for more casual riding without compromising on the functionality us cycling folk have come to expect.

With two large rear pockets and an additional water-resistant zipped pocket, silicone hem gripper and reflective Chapeau badge to the rear, they’ve certainly achieved this.

The fun  polka-dot design means you can don this jersey safe in the knowledge that you’ll look the part on that oh-so-important mid-ride coffee stop, while still having a place to store your cake-bound pennies.

Nabila Jersey, Maloja

Pleating to the front, back yolk and a brilliant bicycle motif make for a cute, feminine jersey, which I for one wouldn’t want to take off!

And it’s definitely not a case of style over substance; the Nabila jersey is cut from Ibisco material, which is lightweight, stretchy and soft, with a Polygiene finish to minimise odours.

Fierlan Jersey, Fierlan

Fierlan Image for LB4
Being Bristol-based, le Bidon couldn’t fail to include this supremely elegant offering from our Bristolian contemporaries – Fierlan – a small company founded in our fine city in 2013.

All-white apart from the duck-egg blue Fierlan logo to the front, this jersey boasts a graceful simplicity that’s echoed in its design – 100% merino wool, three pockets (one zipped) and a full length centre front zip. Unfussy, beautiful, and the ultimate in femininity.

Velocissme Womens SS Jersey, Morvelo

Morvelo Velocissime
Expertly-made and fantastically designed, it wasn’t hard for a second Morvelo offering to find its way onto our shortlist.

The Vanno Velocissme jersey is perhaps the coolest of our bunch. And considering it’s handmade, the slightly higher price tag is a steal!

Price: £60

Most of these jerseys, with the exception of the Morvelo ones, have frustratingly short sleeves meaning they can’t be worn with arm warmers in changeable weather without getting a drafty bit of exposed arm.
One of my biggest annoyances with ladies cycling jerseys… That, and any which don’t have 3 pockets, although a few here do pass that test.
